We Look At The Slab Before We Price The Floor
Each estimate begins with a visit. We measure the room, look for cracks and old coatings, and check the concrete for moisture. In a city where more than half the homes went up before 1981, those checks change the price on a lot of jobs.
The estimate we leave names the system, the coat count, the square footage, the repairs and the total. If grinding uncovers something that changes the plan, work pauses and we talk it through with you first.
We Build Floors For Northern Winters
Winters here are long, and garage and shop floors spend months under slush, salt and crushed rock. We pick thicker wear layers and grippier finishes than an installer in a mild climate would, because floors in this part of the province work harder.
Cold changes how we install as well. The slab temperature gets checked on every job, and heaters come in when the floor needs them. When heat is not practical, we use polyaspartic, which sets in the cold.
We Fit The Work Around Your Day
At home, we keep the site tidy and let you know the hour the floor can take foot traffic and the day it can take the car. Most garages wrap up in one to three days.
For businesses, the floor is planned around your hours. That might mean nights, weekends, a planned shutdown or one zone at a time, so the shop, store or plant keeps running.
We Install Ten Floor Systems
Our work covers garage, shop and warehouse coatings, polyaspartic floors, chemical resistant systems and concrete floor repair, along with basement, industrial, commercial and metallic epoxy flooring. Each one is matched to the slab and to what happens on it.
We Keep Dust Down And The Site Clean
Grinding concrete makes fine dust, so every grinder we run is hooked to a vacuum. We cover doorways and openings with plastic, and we haul away our empties and scrap when the job is done.
We Explain Epoxy Flooring Options In Plain Words
Floor coatings come with a lot of jargon, and we skip it. You will hear what each layer does, why we picked it for your slab and what it costs. If two kinds of epoxy flooring would both work, we price both and show you the difference, and if the cheaper one will do the job, we say so.
We also tell you what a coating cannot do. Epoxy flooring is tough, but it will not fix a slab that is still shifting or a basement that floods every spring, and you should know that before you spend money on it.
We Are Insured For Every Job
All of our floors are covered by insurance. We will gladly send proof of coverage to a homeowner, a property manager or a plant safety office before work begins.
